Have you always wanted to try the pottery wheel? Would you like to introduce someone who is new to the pottery wheel?
We offer a fun introductory pottery wheel class for newbies, with a ‘making’ session and follow-through for the students to glaze the pieces they create! Our class is suitable for ages six and up, and fun for families to enjoy together! Maximum students per class is four so our teachers can give everyone the attention they need. This class is suitable for first-timers!

Dragon Spinners
Are you ready to take the plunge? Dreaming of making beautiful pottery and hungry for more tricks and tips for clay success? We have come up with these classes to allow the beginner student to use and add to their newfound skills. Classes will be 2 hours and will focus on improving pottery wheel skills, and include many handbuilding skills, decorative techniques and glazing knowledge in addition to basic management of your claywork.

Level One-
Centering- Wheel throwing basics
Trimming- Finishing the bottoms of your pots
Handles- Mugs, soup bowls, pitchers
Wedging- Reclaiming clay
Glazing- High fire for a functional finish

Each class involves TWO sessions; The making session, followed next by glazing.
